SIAC-PS Signal Isolator with Power Supply

The SIAC-PS Signal Isolator with Power Supply provides an isolated interface between non-isolated signal sources and the drive. It is designed for use with KBAC 2G Series Drives to isolate, amplify, and condition DC voltage and current signals from a wide range of sources, including tach-generators, transducers, PLCs, and potentiometers.

• Provides isolated signal input for motor speed and isolated direction control

• Includes an isolated 5 VDC power supply for potentiometer operation

• Updated model includes an isolated 24 VDC power supply for transducers or auxiliary equipment

• All input connections and power supplies are fully isolated from the AC line and motor wiring

Installation & Setup

• Snap-in mounting base allows quick and easy installation directly into the drive

• Wired using a plug-in connector

• Barrier terminal blocks simplify field wiring

Controls & Adjustments

• Accepts voltage or current signal inputs

• Power ON LED for operational status

• Multi-turn trimpots:

  • MAX1 – Maximum signal adjustment

  • OFFSET – Signal offset adjustment

• Selectable jumper for voltage or current signal input configuration
